Man I really did enjoy the book. There are so many people that will relate to the dilemma and face some tough questions about where they are. I've never read a book that hits that thought head on.... I will definitely recommend it to some friends of mine.

--Lance J. (West Plains, MO)

Eternity is too long, heaven is too magnificent, and you are too loved by God not to want the truth and nothing but the truth.

Life is more than just a journey. It's a journey through life's spiritual fog. It is also more than a stroll through the churchyard. It must be more like a jungle expedition searching for facts, pieces of evidence, and hidden truths that will give us the answers we need for the life we want.

"When Truth Knocks"s provides many of the facts and pieces of evidence needed for the abundant life that Jesus wants for all of us.

In his book, When Truth Knocks, my friend, Eddie Fleming, ushers you from personal confusion into a biblical certainty of a confident life. His story and his insight will make an immediate impact and eternal difference for you and yours.

Robert J. Morgan is the teaching pastor of The Donelson Fellowship in Nashville, Tennessee, where he has served for over 40 years. He is a best-selling, gold-Illuminations, and gold-medallion winning writer with more than 35 books in print and approximately 5 million copies in circulation in multiple languages.

There are some people that when you meet them, you know that they will one day hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Pastor Eddie Fleming is one of those people. He has served the church he pastors well and faithfully for over thirty years. “When Truth Knocks” is the story of his journey in ministry. It provides practical, biblically sound instruction on responding to the greatest truth of all—the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Definitely a worthwhile read.

I recommend “When Truth Knocks” by my friend, Eddie D. Fleming. In this book, Eddie walks the reader through the spiritual fog that envelops us all. He warns us of shortcuts to avoid and of the ways we can become sidetracked along our journey if we are not vigilant. He also advises us not to be distracted by counterfeit salvation. Eddie provides a path to lead us on our spiritual journey, including self-examination to place us on the right path and the essentials we need to focus on to receive real spiritual benefits. This is a great book to help us navigate life’s journey.

---Edward E. Moody Jr. is the Executive Director of the National Association of Free Will Baptists.

Surveys taken inform us that humanity is increasingly skeptical of absolute truth. We’ve embraced the doctrines of moral relativism in our best institutions of education to the point that a creeping vine has now become the thicket. In his book, “When Truth Knocks,” Eddie Fleming illustrates for us the terrors of ignoring that vine. With great examples from his own life, Eddie confronts the personal and circumstantial realities of ignoring truth while offering the tested Standard and Absolute for authenticity.

---Dale Beaver, a former NASCAR chaplain, holds a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is the Teaching Pastor at Christian Fellowship Church in Evansville, IN.

Below is an excerpt from the introduction of my book.

I don't remember his name, but I do his pain. He was hurting. He was desperate. He was seeking someone, anyone who could give him a glimmer of hope. His greatest fear was in his driveway. It was a deputy sheriff's car. He knew what awaited him. The divorce papers would end his marriage, and he wasn't ready to accept them. Therefore, he bolted and found himself in my office.

The scene was the ultimate act of ignored truths, overlooked telltale signs, and a refusal to face reality. The man’s marriage didn't have to end this way. According to him, he had seen the signs, heard the warnings, but refused to acknowledge and act on them. He now is plagued with the "if onlys."

Why didn't he listen? Why not heed his wife's warnings, attend to her needs, and respond to her pleas? Why? Why do we not act on truths that can save our marriage? Why don't we listen to our physicians and medical experts? Why don't we listen to the God who loves us, the Savior who died for us, and the Holy Spirit who wants to guide us?

This book seeks to answer such questions. It's a book about truth, precisely spiritual truths that I've discovered on my spiritual journey.
